Abstract

We recorded a Chilean Slender Snake (Galvarinus chilensis coronellina) cohabiting under a rock with a Chilean long-tailed snake (Philodryas chamissonis), during a rainy winter day in the surroundings of Socos, Coquimbo Region, Chile. Although these species are largely sympatric in continental Chile, this is the first record showing some direct interaction between them.
